Kelsey Jordan is a biomedical illustrator who combines her scientific experience and artistic training to create beautiful, accurate visualizations. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with her M.S. in Biomedical Visualization in 2016, and holds two undergraduate degrees, a B.S. in Biology and a B.F.A. in Scientific Illustration, from the University of Georgia. She enjoys all of the lively research challenges her profession affords, and relishes the opportunity to collaborate with experts in other fields. She recently finished writing and illustrating her first book for children diagnosed with type 1 diabetes mellitus.

In her time away from the desk and computer screen, she enjoys rock climbing, dancing, running, and visiting natural history museums. She has also never met a frog she didn’t like.
